With the recent HRIS upgrade, the Appointment Form (PER-38) has changed to match the current HRIS pages. The revised form is available on our forms page at http://www.k-state.edu/hr/forms/.
We understand that several campus units plan to use Windows Vista operating system in the future. Although Oracle only officially certifies Internet Explorer v.7 for use with the HRIS/PeopleSoft Applications, local users have been able to run Netscape v.8.x, Mozilla Firefox (both 2.x and 3.x beta), and Internet Explorer v.7 on Windows Vista with no problems. HRIS users should not experience any issues using the Vista operating system with any of the popular Internet Explorer browsers.
