After a new employee creates their eID and password and is hired in HRIS, they go through the affiliation process. Now the affiliation process is only for those who have never been affiliated with K-State. Current students hired as employees and those individuals who have been a student and/or an employee in the past, do not need to affiliate again. Only those who have never been a K-State student and/or an employee will need to complete the affiliation process. Instructions: K-State eID Affiliation Process (pdf)

This HRIS upgrade will be an easy transition for end users. HRIS processes and procedures for updating student pay rate changes, payroll funding, recording time and leave and running reports will not change. However, the process for updating an employee's address will change as well as some of the menu and folder names. Brief information sessions will be available for current HRIS users to prepare for this transition. Register in one of five HRIS 9 Showcases via HRIS Employee Self Service. Instructions for enrolling: http://www.k-state.edu/hr/selfserv.htm#enr
Note: Special sessions will be announced soon for K-State Salina, Area Offices and Research and Extension users.
